Unplugging the FX-DS110-PCC

The system may run out of control if you unplug the FX-DS110-PCC

with Windows 95, 98, or 2000 running without following the

procedure below. If your PC is under Windows NT 4.0, shut down

the PC before unplugging the PC Card.

(1) In Windows, open the Start Menu and select “Settings” and

then “Control Panel”. Double-click on the “PC Card” icon in

the Control Panel

(2) On the “Socket Status” sheet in the “PC Card Properties”

dialog box, select “CONTEC FX-DS110-PCC” and click on

“OK”.

(3) When the confirmation message has appeared, unplug the

FX-DS110-PCC. Wait for a while until the message appears.

Warning

Handle the unplugged PC Card with care as it may be hot.
